About Us

The vision for H.A.P.P.I.N.E.S.S. On Wheels® and the 'Free Shower Project' came to life in 2022, in part, because of the widespread poor treatment and abuse of many vulnerable people, the high rate of bathroom injuries (especially amongst the elderly), the limited financial resources of many individuals to address their hygiene needs, and the isolation and loneliness that many Americans feel which leads to or worsens anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. Our services ultimately counter all of these negative things.
There are millions of people who make up the vulnerable population of military veterans, elderly, and others with health issues and/or mobility challenges. Sadly, the horrific cases (reported and unreported) of abuse, neglect, and exploitation continue to grow each year, and we rarely hear anything in the media or from politicians on what we believe is a national crisis. We understand what caregivers and those with mobility challenges are going through, and we're here to disrupt the outdated, profit-driven, and unempathetic system that plagues today's caregiving culture.

H.A.P.P.I.N.E.S.S. On Wheels is...

...a Christian company - we've thoroughly studied various forms of caregiving found throughout the Bible, and we unashamedly operate in alignment with Biblical principles such as treating others how we would like to be treated ourselves. Jesus Christ addressed the care of His mother by placing her into the care of one of His disciples who He trusted (John 19:25-27). Jesus did this as He hung on a cross bearing the weight of everyone's sins. This selfless act is one of the reasons that providing care to those in need is important to us, along with building trust with the people we serve and their families.

...a green company - our services are powered by an electric truck and solar panels instead of using a noisy air-polluting generator. This minimizes our carbon footprint and helps to make our visits to your neighborhood as quiet as possible.

Vision
Our vision is to provide our mobile personal care services in every city as a beacon of hope, and to lighten the load of those that are going through some of the most challenging times of their life - both the caregiver and the person needing care. We will accomplish this while simultaneously existing as a light for the Kingdom of God.
